Thank you for visiting my website. I grew up here in Nashville and graduated from Hillwood High School in 1982. I left for college in 1982 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alabama with a double major in History and Political Science in 1986. I then moved to Washington, DC and received a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the American University in 1990. I returned to Nashville in the fall of 1990. I worked for an attorney as a clerk/paralegal for two years and entered the Nashville School of Law in 1992. During law school, I worked for two private law firms and the Tennessee Attorney General in the Anti-Trust and Civil Rights and Claims divisions. I received my Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the Nashville School of Law in 1996 and was licensed by the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners in October, 1996. I worked for a small law firm until May of 1997. I started my own practice in May of 1997.
